Commercial solar photovoltaic systems are now profitable. Some of the benefits of going solar are: utility companies offering cash incentives in excess of 30% of system costs and purchase power agreements that pay for more than 60% of the cost of a system over time; the Federal Government offering a 30% dollar for dollar tax credit on the balance or 30% cash grant; the State of Arizona offering up to $25,000.00 tax credit; and up to 100% depreciation in the first year; reduction in utility bill; and carbon credits that even without a mandate are steadily increasing in value. These benefits will not last forever so the time is now to invest in solar.
